WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??

A Word From Karen...

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he”
(Prov. 23:7) NKJV

Because our thoughts are words, these thoughts are also seeds that will ALWAYS bear fruit.  It’s God’s law.  Our thoughts and words are affecting us daily (every moment) and influencing ALL of our decisions.  Our present harvest is a direct result of past and present thoughts, both good and bad.

CHOOSE TO CHANGE

Let’s answer two questions:

  1. What am I focused on?
  2. What am I speaking?

Again, death and life are in the power of OUR tongue, each time – every time. (Prov. 18:21)

In many instances, scientists have proven what the Word teaches us.  Our brains can change.  The ruts and trenches in our brains can be reshaped by reforming our thoughts and confession.  Romans 12:2 states the key to our change.  “And be not conformed to this world: but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing (renovation) of your mind….”.

The word “transformed” is the Greek word “metamorphoo”.  “Metamorphoo” is where we get the word “metamorphosis”.  A metamorphosis is a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.1

YOUR PRESENT HARVEST

Look at your present harvest.  If your harvest is less than you believe it should be or otherwise undesirable, you need to change something.  You need to change the seed you are sowing.  The seeds you have sown are your very thoughts and the words generated by them.  In the physical world, if you sow seeds of corn you will reap a harvest of corn.  This is exactly how the spirit realm works.

The Lord wants you to have a healthy, successful harvest.  A healthy successful harvest does not solely depend on longer hours of work.  A healthy successful harvest is not produced because you have friends in high places.  You may think that success comes from your own intelligence and even your education.  Those things are valuable tools,  but, the Lord says differently.  The Lord says to Joshua “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate (chew on over and over through thinking) in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For THEN you will make your way prosperous, and THEN you will have good success” (Jos. 1:8).

What we all need to learn to do is to THINK.  As we learn to study the word of life (Bible), our ability to think healthy thoughts will grow. Our destiny will line up with God’s plan and direct all our decisions.

Today is the day to choose life and begin our transformation process.

With love and much anticipation,

P/Karen
