When Zerubbabel returned from the captivity of Babylon, he was commissioned by the LORD to rebuild the Temple of God.  The prophet Zechariah prophesied to him, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zec. 4:6).  In other words, it will not be by human force or effort, but by the Spirit of God.

Zerubbabel was called to rebuild the fallen Temple.  The LORD wants to anoint us today to begin to rebuild our physical temples, our bodies.  It is His desire that we would prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers. (3 John 2).

The task before Zerubbabel was monumental, a mountain.  We have mountains in front of us that can show up in the form of sickness, and dis-ease, affecting our physical bodies causing our destinies to be sabotaged.

The LORD through the prophet Zechariah spoke about the mountain.  He said, “Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain:” (Zec. 4:7).  Zerubbabel was to shout to the mountain, “Grace, grace unto it.  Shouting to the mountain would cause it to level out.

Jesus spoke the same thing to his disciples and He is saying it to us.  “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23) NKJ

We literally have to “speak” to the mountain.  We must believe this is true.  Doubting causes us to waiver in opinion.  Doubting can cause you to appear to be at a loss with no seeming way out.  This is not the truth.

Today, believe the word and speak to the mountain.  Don’t stop speaking. God cannot lie, the mountain will be removed.
