“GIVE and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down,
and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.
For with the same measure that you mete
withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38)
The children are blessed; the parents are relieved; the teachers are ever so grateful! And it’s all because of YOU!!
This year’s back-to-school supply drive on behalf of Dupont Elementary School was a tremendous success. Our school liaison, Tammy Brown, reported the there were enough items donated to literally fill her 4-Runner to the brim as she transported the supplies to the school yesterday.
This was a relatively simple gesture on our part, but a huge blessing to children who now don’t have to be embarrassed by not having enough school supplies; and to parents who now won’t feel ashamed for not being able to provide adequately for their children’s needs; and to teachers who otherwise might have had to sacrificially pay for many supplies out of their own pockets.
May God reward you for giving to His precious children!!
We would also like to thank everyone for your faithful and generous giving to the LORD through Olive Tree Connections. We are seeing His hand move in our midst in a mighty way.
