THE MONTH OF IYAR AND THE ATTACK OF AMALEK
Iyar, the second month on the Hebrew calendar is a transitional time. After leaving Egypt, Israel entered a time of testing, healing and spiritual warfare. Iyar is a month of healing, learning obedience, and total dependence on God. Much happened in this month. In the month of Iyar, God released manna from Heaven. (Ex.16)
