UNLOCKING HEAVEN’S WISDOM

A Word From Karen...

“And Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before the LORD, which was at the tabernacle of meeting, and offered a
thousand burnt offerings on it”.
(II Chron. 2:6)  NKJV

The wisest man who ever lived was King Solomon. Before he received wisdom so great that people from every nation came to visit him and to hear the wisdom GOD had given him, he did something very significant. It cannot be ignored. We will see what it was a little later.

Solomon had taken firm control of the kingdom because the LORD was with him. It was the LORD who made him powerful. Once he gathered the generals and captains of the army, including judges and all the political leaders, he led them to the hill of Gibeon. This is where God’s tabernacle was located.

The bronze altar that was made by Bezalel of the tribe of Judah in the days of Moses had been preserved for use in Gibeon. Solomon and the people gathered in front of it to consult the LORD.

What did Solomon do that unlocked the wisdom he needed to become the wisest and riches king who ever lived? “Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar” (I Kings 3:4). That night the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said “What do you want? Ask and I will give it to you) (I Kings 3:5).

The process of building the Temple and his own home began after this. This offering unlocked the resources of Heaven. Like Solomon, the most important resource of Heaven we need to unlock is wisdom.

There is revival in our land, an awakening to God’s presence; souls are being saved. The Lord also wants a re-awakening to wisdom.

Ask Him how to apply this word to your life. I personally have uncounted testimonies of how sowing offerings unto the LORD changed the course of my entire life. Healings, miracles and financial increase have come to me because of understanding the principle of giving. Ask Him what He wants you to do.

Many blessings,
