A Word From Karen

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

“Likewise, the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”
(Rom. 8:26)

He that speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not to men, but directly unto God.  No man understands what is being said, however in the spirit, you are speaking mysteries (I Cor. 14:2), hidden and secret things are revealed, answers to questions are made apparent, wisdom is downloaded; the list is endless.

When we pray in an unknown tongue, our natural understanding is unfruitful because our spirit is praying.

When we pray in the spirit, we have surrendered 100% of our thoughts and our speech.  Because the Spirit is praying through us, He is speaking the language of Heaven.  The perfect will of God is being released in the earth, the atmosphere begins to shift and demonic activity in operation against us is paralyzed.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is accompanied by the gift of tongues, if you receive and believe.  Many denominations have deemed this holy and precious gift to be of the devil.  Of course, the enemy wants people to believe this so he can continue to control and manipulate without God’s “interference.”

Today is a reminder for us to DAILY pray in the Spirit.  If you have neglected to pray, begin today with 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes.  Pray while you are alone in the car.  Pray while you are in the shower.  Pray while you are doing household chores.  Begin to build yourself up according to Jude 1:20, praying in the Holy Ghost.

Though you won’t necessarily comprehend naturally, you will begin to see much fruit in your life, it’s God’s promise.

If you have not received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, ask Him and He will fill you.

Blessings,

P/Karen
