OPEN THE RULE BOOK OF HEAVEN

A Word From Karen...

“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law (Torah) and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them” (Exodus. 24:12).

The word “Torah” sometimes has a negative effect on many Christians today because they associate this word with law and legalism meant for the Jews. Torah literally means “the instruction of God.” Torah is instruction and direction, either human or divine. (Brown Drivers Briggs). The Torah gives us living codes (codes to live by) that will benefit us today and forever.

Written, the word Torah in Hebrew is: תּוֹרָה. Reading from right to left you see the letters, Tav,Vav, Resh and He. These letters’ meanings are as follows:
Tav = The cross, sign
Vav= nail
Resh= head of man
He= window and “what comes from”

The literal interpretation of these letters means “What comes from the man nailed to the cross” (Seekins). By studying the Torah, one learns the paths of righteousness. By studying the Torah one learns the right direction to walk. By obeying the Spirit of the Torah one learns to hit the mark (do the right thing). By studying the Torah one receives divine and prophetic revelation to understand the times. By studying Torah, one receives the revelation of God’s son.

Let’s again look at the word Torah and its meaning through its letters, specifically the question “What comes from the man nailed to the cross?” The answer can be found starting in Luke 24:27 as the resurrected Yeshua went to eat with the two men on the road to Emmaus.

“And beginning at Moses (Torah) and all the prophets (Nevi’im) He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself” (Luke 24:27).  “And he said unto them, these are the Words which I spoke unto you while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses (Torah) and in the prophets (Nevi’im) and in the psalms (Ketuvim) concerning me” (Luke 24:440.  This chapter is rich with the things that Yeshua opened. It is the Messiah, the Man nailed to the cross Who opens the scripture to you. This 24th chapter of Luke reveals seven (7) things that were opened: the tomb (v.12), opened home (v. 29), opened eyes (v. 31), opened scriptures (v.32), opened lips (v. 35), opened understanding (v.45), opened heavens (v. 51). 1

The more skilled we become in unlocking the anointed rule Book, the more prepared all of us will be for walking through the days that are upon us. Unlocking the ancient Hebrew Scriptures reveals covenant. We must understand the secret of the Hebrew covenant and how it works. “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him and He will show them His covenant” (Psalms 25:14).
